Hello Teja,
Jobs for Aeronautical engineering students after passing out in core competencies are very very limited. So, I would advise you to take up CSE or mechanical if that choice is available.

Hi,
Average package of COE branch of NSIT 2016 batch was around 14lacs.
Advice:- Don't look on average package, always ask for median package. Because average package can fool you, because if a person was selected in Google or Facebook or any other company having a big package that would increase the average by a huge amount(for example a student placed in Facebook with a package of 1 crore would drastically increase average package). On the other hand median is the package of the student who was in middle when students are arranged in decreasing/increasing order of package offered to him/her. The placement from TNAU for food processing engineering is not up to the mark as the placement from agricultural as well as farm related streams. The companies are definitely visiting the campus but students getting placed in the stream are not even around 80%.
As a gesture of advice, it is more worth to take admission in private institute from CSE or IT which will going to reward you more than the requested college and stream.
