In India, it is having a very less scope. You will have to spend at least 10 to 15 years in research and study. But I think working and studying abroad will be the best option for you as it has a great future and scope in research-oriented nations.

Dear Vatsal, Singapore has a very good chemical engineering industry and one of the best countries after China, UK, and Australia. Can't say much about the opportunities here since obtaining a job as a foreigner will be difficult though it is one of the most popular countries for Indians to enhance their career. You must speak with your university first about career assistance, global assignments, opportunities, work permits, etc. if you want to work there.
