Every branch which is being offered in colleges has a good scope. All you have to do is to learn the skills during your education.
And the major point is that selection of branch depends upon your area of interest. Suppose, you feel good about machinery then go for mechanical, some construion activity attracts your mind then go for civil, or if you feel good about computers then go for computer science, etc.
All you have to do is find your interest and go for that only.
If you pursue the course in which you have interest then you will definitely get a good job in that field in India only.

So if you could update yourself with the electric vehicles and related stuff then, you can option for automobile engineering.
It is not that, these engineers would have no scope but it is that, there is a transformation in the field of automobiles for which they need to equip themselves.
