As both are the good and most demanding branches among students, also students should choose the one as per their interest and potential. Electrical engineering is the bridge between computer science and mechanical engineering. So if you want to work for your salary but be in high demand, EE is the place.

Comparisons between both are not possible due to their vast scope. I would seriously not suggest going with your passion but instead, go for the thing which you want in your job. If it is money then go for simpler but high-paying jobs like management and CS or if you really want things to be exciting & are ready to compromise with the pay and social life then go for the more complex electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.

First year is all about gaining new knowledge and getting used to your new surroundings. If a student wants to do well in engineering, he should prepare for his exams in advance and make sure he has completed his assignments on time. Student must focus on his studies and not on any extra activities.

Hello Pavan, recruiters usually do not give too much importance on things that students feel very important. They are invariably looking for spark in the students and quality of logic an ethics. So don't worry. Extra year spent on education is not going to hamper your chances of getting employment in MNC. Best wishes to you.

Yes Definitely IGNOU degree allowed for government exams. However everyone not get selected in government jobs so this degree also valid for Private Sector jobs also. IGNOU degree worth for them who need them. Its not for everyone. You have to be very disciplined and sincere during these times. IGNOU exams are actually much harder than other private colleges. You get all material but you have to go through your own. You have to keep a keen interest in subject because there is no one to motivate you in your journey of IGNOU study.
