The Engineering Physics syllabus for the UG course incorporates some core subjects that are compulsory for you to study in each semester, given the foundational knowledge they provide, leaving little to no scope for customization. The time required for the BTech in Engineering Physics entrance test preparation cannot be said with any certainty but is better to start as early as possible. Ideally, you should start preparing for the exam at least 8 to 10 months before the final exam date so that you have sufficient time for preparation and can cover the maximum syllabus, which can increase your chances of getting an outstanding score and being shortlisted for admission.

Yes, if you belong to any of the reserved categories, almost every college gives some sort of relaxation in marks during the admission process for the BTech Engineering Physics course. The relaxation is usually 5% marks. For example, if general category students need 50% marks to be eligible for admission, you need to get 45% marks. The same rule applies to the entrance exam scores as well.

To get admission to the BTech Engineering Physics course, you need to have at least 50 to 60 percent marks in the PCM subjects and clear relevant entrance tests with an excellent score.

Yes, to get admission to the M Tech in Civil Engineering course, you need to score at least 55 to 60% marks in the B Tech Civil Engineering or a related course and get excellent marks in relevant entrance tests like GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, CUET PG, Karnataka PGCET, etc.

Almost all of the colleges give admission on the basis of valid entrance test scores and often conduct a Personal Interview round as well.
