The eligibility criteria for taking admission in Monad University BTech programme is separate based on the course type. The following points reflects the criteria as set by the institute:
· For regular BTech program the students must have minimum aggregate of 45% in their class 12 (40% for reserved categories) with any one of the subjects namely Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject.
· Eligibility criteria for students with diploma degree is set at minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved candidates) in their relevant branch or completion of B

No, the admission in BTech course at Monad University is a merit based system. The students should fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to get admission in the university. Usually the class 12 exam results are set as the benchmark with minimum requirement of 50% aggregate. Relaxation of 5% is given to the candidates of reserved categories.

Prospective students of the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program at Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) need to seek admission through their WBJEE ranks rather than JEE Main. The admission chances through WBJEE at position 3599 as an OBC candidate depend on previous year cut-off pattern data. OBC candidates at KGEC normally need to match the cutoff between 1500 and 2500 for CSE admission.
