Every BTech Textile Engineering college follows a set of guidelines. The time involved in the process can vary from college to college. In general, it can take up to a few months because there are a lot of formalities that need to be completed before you are given the final seat, like entrance exam, college registration, result declaration, seat allotment, and final payment of course fee. So, you should be calm and patient during the entire process.

Securing direct admission to IITs is improbable with a 12th-grade PCM score of 81% and a SC preparation rank of 4203 in JEE Advanced 2024, as this rank normally falls above the cutoff for SC category seats. However if you don't meet the regular cutoffs, you can be eligible for a one-year preparatory course that IITs give to SC, ST and PwD candidates. Students can be admitted to the following academic year after successfully completing this course. To investigate your alternatives you must take part in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority's (JoSAA) counseling procedure.
