For admission to BTech at NIT Andhra Pradesh, students must pass Class 12 with 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject (for SC/ST, 65% aggregate is required). The course fee for BTech Nanotechnology differs from one college to another. The B Tech in Nanotechnology syllabus is a mix of both core and elective subjects. The core subjects are basically the ones that are compulsory for you to study because they cover very important concepts related to the field.

The BTech Nanotechnology course is a perfect combination of both core and elective subjects. The 1st year syllabus mostly has core subjects to give you a basic understanding of the field and get some fundamental facts clear. You will then start getting elective choices from the 2nd year onwards where you can choose a few subjects that you find more interesting to study and easy to understand.
Some of the elective choices include Polymer Science, Additive Manufacturing, Nanoelectronics, Nanocomposites, Functionalization of Nanoparticles, etc.
