Aspirants need to complete a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination to apply for KPRIET ME programme. Below are the degree required:
- B.E. / BTech/ B.Arch. Degree Programmes (or)
- B.Pharm. Degree Programmes (or)
- Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed
Aspirants who have completed Class 12 with AMIE or Class 10 along with three-year Diploma are AMIE are also eligible to apply.

Most of the popular CSE colleges and universities in India give admission on the basis of valid entrance exam scores. Especially, if you are aiming for the NITs and the IITs, you will have to clear the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams respectively, with a very good score and rank. Having said that, there are a lot of top private institutions that admit students considering their Class 12 board exam marks. They usually take a GD or PI round in such cases.
