B.P.C students are not eligible to get a free seat in B.Tech CSE (through EAMCET) since that does come? under (M)PC.

Alternatives:

  • Re-do maths bridge course (if allowed by? state)? Register for limited technology courses.
  • CSE (Polytechnic) diploma? Lateral entry? in B.Tech CSE (2nd year)
  • B.Sc. Computer Science/IT? Go into software jobs? after.

No, the college does not conduct its own entrance exam. Admissions are based on JEE Main or KEAM scores, followed by merit-based shortlisting.

You can target state and private engineering colleges for Computer Science (CSE) as you are from Jaipur and your approximate CRL rank is between 1,50,000 and 1,60,000 with an 86.2 percentile in JEE Mains. Among the better choices are

Through REAP counseling Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota
Excellent IT placements at JECRC University in Jaipur
Jaipur's Poornima University has good teachers and facilities.
Solid industry ties at Manipal University in Jaipur
Higher percentile is needed for the admission to LNMIIT, Jaipur nevertheless direct admissions are possible.
A well-liked private choice in Rajasthan is SKIT Jaipur.
