There is no such strict age limit for opting for courses in Biomedical Engineering at popular academic institutions in India. But, looking at the previous admission processes for BME courses, students are usually between 18 years and 24 years at the time of admission.
Rest, some universities may have certain age requirements for admission, it is very less likely to happen though. If you are a bright student with a good academic record and have successfully cleared the entrance exam or other assessment rounds, you can apply for Biomedical Engineering courses.

Among all the courses, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stands out as the most preferable choice for admission among the students belonging to the General AI quota. For the OBC category students, the M.Tech cutoff 2024 varied between 664 and 304, wherein, still, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most sought-after specialisation in the AI quota.

Yeah, you can apply for B.Tech at MNNIT after your diploma, but here is the thing: you'll need to crack JEE Main since there's no direct second-year admission. Your Diploma will grant you eligibility, but you'll be competing for a first-year spot with everyone else. Just make sure your Diploma is AICTE-approved and you meet their basic criteria. So, yeah, give JEE Main a shot!
