The M.Tech Mechanical Engineering course covers topics such as thermodynamics, machine design, production system technology, CAD/CAM software, machine application principles, etc. You can apply for a job as well after completing BTech Mechanical Engineering if you want to become self-independent as early as poss

Further, as per the IIT Bombay cutoff 2024, the last-round ranged between 325 and 725 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the categories, the most difficult course to get into IIT Bombay was M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering having a last-round cutoff 750.
