In today's world, Mechatronics field is a very demanding field and Chandigarh University has designed this course to construct broad knowledge from the different streams of engineering. Design, control systems, electronics, and computing are all included, with a focus on hands-on learning with projects and labs to prepare students for their future employment.

The course also gets input from industry specialists to keep its content relevant. All these merits are further sharpened by the university's good infrastructure and national rank prestige. The prospective career potential is above average in other areas too because com

Aerospace engineering at Chandigarh University offers subjects in aerodynamics, propulsion, aircraft design among others. Students are taught in well-equipped labs like flight simulator, aeromodelling lab, propulsion lab while there is also provision made in observatory study of the sky. The programme offers the scope to choose specializations like avionics, aircraft maintenance and even rockets.

The university has linkages to courses offered by ISRO whereby training certificates are to be given under ISRO expertise. With AI as a minor subject, learners get extra edge on this new technology. Teachers from IITs, NITs and industry s

The label of the "the easiest" engineering discipline often depends on personal strengths and weaknesses. What one person finds challenging, another might find relatively easy. However, some students find certain engineering branches to be less challenging than others. These engineering branches might include:

  • Industrial Engineering
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering

The Chemical Engineering department at Chandigarh University has a strong placement record. Students benefit from specialised labs like Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, and Process Dynamics, which prepare them for real-world industry challenges. Companies such as Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, MG Motors, VA Tech Wabag, and Tata Consulting Engineers regularly visit the campus to recruit fresh talent.

Graduates find roles as process engineers, plant engineers, quality control engineers, and R&D professionals across chemical manufacturing, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and environmental consulting industries. The department also

For admission to BTech courses offered by IIIT Guwahati, students are required to take the JEE Main exam. Once the exam is completed, students must participate in JoSAA counselling. The seats are allocated based on JEE Main scores. Those who do not get a seat in any of the rounds can take part in CSAB.

Electrical Engineering at Chandigarh University is quite promising. The department has modern labs like Power Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, and more, which help you actually build and test things, not just read about them. The curriculum is updated with electives so you can specialize in areas like Energy Systems or Instrumentation if that interests you. The Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) does a decent job setting up internships and helping with interview prep, so you get exposure before you graduate. The campus life is active, the classrooms are decent, and there are good peer groups to l

Electrical Engineering at Chandigarh University is honestly a good choice if you're serious about both core engineering and future technologies. The programme is accredited by NBA and ABET, which means it's recognised globally. What I liked most is the flexibility – you can pick specializations like Power Systems, Energy Systems, Electric Vehicles, or Control & Instrumentation. On top of that, CU gives you a chance to study AI as a minor and even earn Microsoft certifications like Azure AI Fundamentals. The labs are well-equipped, and there's even a HARTEK Innovation Lab for sustainability. With workshops,

From what I've observed, Civil Engineering at Chandigarh University gives you a fair chance at placements. The university invites companies like vConstruct, Simplex, McDermott, and Everest Industries, so students don't just depend on a single sector. The placement cell also guides students with mock interviews and workshops so they're ready to face recruiters confidently. A big plus is the exposure students get through activities like Constructionarium, where they go to live sites and actually build models themselves. This kind of practical training makes it easier to impress recruiters. While getting placed also depends on your skills

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and

It depends on several things: which category you belong to (General / OBC / SC etc.), whether it's CUET score or rank, and which round of counselling. But I've found some data which gives a rough idea.

From recent years at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), for B.Tech Civil Engineering in the General category:

The closing CUET score was about 86.95 in 2023 for Civil.

In 2025, the cutoff “marks” range for B.Tech Civil is projected to be between 516–560 in General category.

Also in Round 1 of 2025, the Civil Engineering cutoff for the General category was 525 marks.
