There is no the easiest subject/branch to crack in GATE 2026. It completely depends on candidate's interest, academics, strengths and skill set. But compared to the previous GATE stats, here are some papers that have lesser competition compared to other GATE papers -
- Life Sciences (XL)
- Environmental Science and Engineering (ES)
- Humanities and Social Sciences (XH)
- Ecology and Evolution (EY)

The percentile is depend on the college and your category if you are a general category students then it is impossible for you that you can take the admission in government top colleges for aerospace engineering branch and for other information you can visit the official website of the college

You can get admission in engineering College with 47 percent marks in class 12th but you can not take admission in government top colleges like IITs and Nits

IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 exam dates. The GATE 2026 exam will be held on February 7,8, 14, and 15, 2026. The exam will be conducted online in two sessions - Forenoon and Afternoon. Candidates are advised to keep all their documents and certificates to register for the GATE 2026 exam.

The GATE 2026 official website is now activated. The website of GATE 2026 was launched on August 5. However, the online GATE 2026 registrations started on August 28. Candidates are advised to keep all their documents ready before the application form registration starts.
