Om Valmik Mapari, government owned polytechnic at Pune is famous for attracting students with high percentage obtained in class 10th examination. This results students only with high percentage becoming successful in getting admission in this place. In spite of this there is no indication that Government polytechnic at Pune has prescribed in sort of cutoff for the courses. This may be so because of perhaps the government policy of not restricting any student from applying irrespective of the fact of who gets admission or not.
