A general rank in the range of 2000 to 4000 is expected if you score is the 97.97 percentile. This is a guess based on information such as the number of candidates who took the exam, the number of qualified candidates, and the highest score.
If you look at the cutoffs from the previous year, you can see what to expect.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 1.2 lac per month. Top companies are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Cohesity, etc. Almost 90% of the students got the opportunity for internships in top companies.

Candidates those seeking for admission in B.Tech course can apply through a state level exam (MH-CET 2021) entrance exam. Candidates can also apply for admission in the state on the basis of the JEE Main 2021 score card. For admissions in IIT, candidates have to clear JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2021 examinations.

Scope of higher education is high after B.Tech CSE, and students who are planning to go abroad for higher studies will be most beneficial with this degree. B.Tech CSE is the best option if you want to start your own business or venture in the field of Software or IT.

Debating about NIT Srinagar and Amrita Coimbatore, NIT Srinagar is far much better college than Amrita Coimbatore in terms of placements, company visited, infrastructure, campus, facilities and activities. If you are getting mechanical branch in NIT Srinagar, then I think you should take a seat in that college only as compared to Amrita Coimbatore Mechanical. So the choice is in your hands. Good luck.
