It depends upon which state you belong. If your home state is Assam then for SC category there're some chances for you to get into NIT Silchar in civil branch from round 1 or maybe get CS IT branch in last round. But if you're from another state then there's is low chances. Thank you.

Hello Neena, at least at present in India, professional courses including engineering are not allowed to be offered by any university under distance education mode. Hence i would urge you to know the genesis and under which authority this institution is offering civil engineering by correspondence.
