GATE is an entrance exam for M.Tech in various NIT's and IIT's. For general category the minimum score required to get into one of the top IIT's or NIT's for Mtech is in the range of60-70 out of 100. Well the specific cut off's for each university will be released once the results for GATE are officially announced.

The University of Texas has 15 beautiful residential halls for students. The residential halls are built near various campuses of the university, which makes it easy for the students to commute. All these residential halls are just 10-12 minutes' walk from the university.

The Cockrell School offers various courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
For international students the fee structure is a little expensive compared to residents of the USA.
The application fee for undergraduate and postgraduate international students is USD 90 (INR 7.71K).
The school does not offer scholarship to incoming undergraduate students, but it does offer limited number of scholarships after the international students gets admitted into the school after completion of the Engineering scholarship application by Mar 1, 2026.
