Dear Ashish, To the best of my knowledge, you should have a minimum of 60% marks overall in the 12th class including mandatory subjects, English Physics and Maths. As you have mentioned that you got 65.08% marks in 12th with PCMB, you are eligible for admission to engineering as well as other various programme offered by LPU. Dear Piyush, Being alumni of LPU, I recommend LPU for an engineering programme instead of a state government college. LPU is ranked 66th in engineering among all government and private universities in India by NIRF ranking 2021. LPU is ahead of many NITs as well. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Category-B Seats are just management quota seats. Previously these seats are directly filled up by the colleges themselves. But now these are filled by the convenor. Here fees are high and we must pay the whole fee. Those who had not qualified EAPCET or not happy with their rank but they want to join a good college even for high fee can register and join.
