Hello TM Tamilselvan, if I may ask as to why you want to join engineering? More than 50% fresh engineering graduates do not get placed. So getting job after completion of engineering graduation is a myth. 55percentile means approximately 5 Lacs students have scored better than you. It's much better to pursue a subject that you like. If you still desire, I would like to advise you to download college predictors and use it to know which branch and institution you can get admission in. Best wishes to you.

Hello Path, Ph.D. is not a regular programme lije BE or ME. Hence there are no limits on number of vacancies etc. It all depends on number of guides available in a particular college and the number of students who can clear entrance exam for Ph.D. Normally speaking, you should approach the institute from whhete you did your PG or from which university you want to do Ph.D. You will have to search a lot since such information is not readily available. But remember, where there is will, there is a way!
Best wishes to you.

Hello Suhail, normally speaking states restrict admissions of students from other states under lateral mode of admission. However since many private engineering colleges are established by politically connected people, state government's allow such admissions when seats are NIT getting filled up. In view of this I would advise you to keep track of this, on the website of the dte of tech education of the state where you intend to take admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sanjay Hingamire, it's very nice to hear from you that you want to study in Marathi, perhaps your mother tounge. Some institutions have been allowed to offer engineering graduation course in Marathi. However there is still uncertainty about Diploma courses since these fall under the powers of the state government. I would therefore like to advise you to approach dte of tech education of the state of Maharashtra to know list of such institutions if any. Best wishes to you.
