Hello Sanjay, One must study in the branch that one not only likes but is passionate about. Whether it's civil, mechanical or CSR makes no difference. Yes presently students with CSE branch get better placements but believe me mechanical branch is one perpetual branch. You should deliberate, mediate and then decide. Best wishes to you.

In India, the top engineering entrance exam is JEE Mains. It is conducted to get NITs or IIITS or GFTIS. Those who are qualified in Mains they can write JEE Advanced exam, which ic conducted for IITs. Besides these there are other State Entrance exams. Some deemed universities also have entrance exams. BITSAT is top private entrance exam which is conducted to join in BITS in Goa, Hyderabad, and in Pilani in Rajasthan. Hope my answer is helpful. Please upvote my answer.
