Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru offers a range of courses at UG, PG and doctoral level to both national as well as international students. BTech

Students are offered Amrita Vidyanidhi Scholarship which is explained below:

• Tuition Fee Waiver: A fee waiver ranging between 90% to 25% is granted to students’ basis their AEEE rank at the time of admission counselling
• A total 300+ candidates receive this scholarship every year; the continuation of this scholarship depends on CGPA score of students during their subsequent years of study
• Students belonging to Indian origin with a score of 1,300 or above in SAT 2020 are recognised as top performers by the college board. This category of students with a family income of less than Rs 8 LPA are granted a full tuition scholarship for the entire course duration

Integrated MTech and PhD

Scholarships offered to the students enrolled in this course along with respective amounts disbursed are shown below:

• Vivesvaraya Scholarship: Up to Rs 43,000 per month stipend alone
• Industry Sponsored Scholarship: Up to Rs 80,000 per month stipend alone
• Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham MTech Scholarship: Rs 25,000 per semester
• GATE Scholarship (all programmes): Rs 12,500 per month
• Amrita University PhD Scholarship: Up to Rs 25,000 per month stipend

Founded in 2002, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru is one among the five schools that come under the flagship of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. It was established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, is accredited with Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has gained approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Students are required to fill the form along with paying a registration fee online only. Details of admission eligibility for courses offered by this campus along with their qualifying entrance exams are enlisted below:

• BTech: Students are granted admission to this course basis a valid score in Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) held by the Amrita University, followed by a counselling session; JEE Main and SAT qualified candidates are exempted from the University-conducted entrance test
• MTech: Admissions are given on the basis of a candidate's rank in AEEE; students with a qualifying score in GATE or with minimum two years of work experience in the relevant industry, also qualify for direct admissions
• MSc: Admission is entirely based on a candidate's marks in the previous qualifying exam i.e. bachelor’s degree
• PhD: Candidates are offered admission to this course on the basis of the written test conducted by the University, followed by a Personal Interview around; students who have a qualifying score in CSIR NET 2020 / UGC NET 2020 / GATE 2020 are directly called for the PI round
• Integrated MTech and PhD: Students with a master’s degree in the relevant stream and a valid score in Amrita Graduate Entrance Test (AGET) or GATE 2020 can secure direct admission to this course; also, those who have a minimum two years’ experience in the relevant industry, stand eligible for the admission post a telephonic round
