You can appear for engineering entrance exam and will be admitted as lateral entry in 2nd year of course.

It depends on your branch. I think you cannot get a good NIT with this score.

Hello Soumita Haldar, after doing graduation in Chemistry you want to pursue engineering in chemical? If I may ask why you want to spend four years to this course whereas you can do PG and halfway through to your doctorate in Chemistry in this period? However if you still want to pursue, you need to appear for and clear entrance test that is assigned by your state for admission to engineering colleges. Also please check about eligibility conditions particularly about year of passing of 12th etc. Best wishes to you.
