The Institute of Chartered Accountants has three steps for the Chartered Accountancy course. The Entrance exam CPT is replaced by the CA Foundation by the new curriculum introduced by the ICAI. The second level after the CA Foundation or CPT will be CA Intermediate. IPC is replaced by the CA Intermediate. The last level is the CA Final. It has come into effect from 1st July 2017. Eligibility for registration in CA Intermediate course : After clearing the CPT/CA Foundation a student will become eligible to register for the CA Intermediate. Hello Sandeep Jain, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma. Yes you can definitely think of doing engineering via evening class if there is such Institute in your place of working. Distance education mode is not available for engineering. However you can seriously think of doing your graduation in engineering by doing AMIE. This is equivalent to graduation in engineering in all respects. Best wishes to you.
