Mechatronics Engineering is a course you need to do, only if you are really into robotics and other mechanical aspects. The need for Mechatronics Engineers are increasing. The main advantage of pursuing Mechatronics Engineering is that you get to cover Mechanical, Electrical and computer Engineering, In my point of view this can set you up in a good firm with a good salary. If you are confused between taking Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Engineering with AI and ML. I would say to take Mechatronics Engineering as your degree programme and to do Computer Engineering with AI and ML as a certification degree or Post Graduation programme.
