I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

From my personal experience, placements in automobile engineering at Chandigarh University are definitely encouraging. The university has tie-ups with companies like Royal Enfield, TVS, Hyundai, and MG Motors, and I've seen friends get into some of these names straight from campus. No, candidates can't apply for IMU CET offline. There is only one way to apply which is through the official website.

As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below - 

  • Minimum age: 17 years

  • Maximum age: 

    • For Male: General - 25 years, OBC (NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years

    • For Female: General - 27 years, OBC (NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.

No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program

For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -

Maximum age : Male : For General-28 years OBC (NCL)-31 years SC/ST-33 years.

Female : For General-30 years OBC (NCL)-33 years SC/ST-35 years
