Hello Harsh Surve,
With more than 80% in diploma examination I am sure you will get admission in engineering via lateral admission process. But it's very tough to say which college you may get since it depends on very many dynamic things.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Palak Agrahari,
I can understand your angst and anxiety. But do not worry. You should get admission in a college which is in same place as where you are living. But unfortunately such information is not available on the net else I would have provided. Best wishes to you.

Both are different exams. GATE is related to engineering students, which make you to get PSU's or admission in different IIT, NIT and other colleges. IIT JAM is for the students who pursue B.Sc. And get M.Sc. After this exam.
