Transfer between the engineering colleges is possible, If colleges are affiliated to the same University. Because of the course curriculum and fee structure of affiliated colleges are same. The transfer between the two different Universities is difficult because of their own rules and regulations.

Hello Shivesh Rai, it is nice to hear from you that you have passed your Diploma in mechanical engineering. However you have not clearly specified as to which course you are seeking admission and for which you are qurrying whether you are eligible or not. In general I can say that it the webpage of the directorate of technical education of your state will be giving in a tabular form as to which branch of engineering you will be eligible as Diploma in mechanical engineering. If your query is off some other course then I would kindly request you to post a fresh query on this issue. Best wishes to you.

Hello Ritobeena Roy, many PSU's recruit young engineers in large numbers every year. Earlier there used to be allegations of nepotism and fraud in the process of conducting written exams. To avoid all this and to have a level playing field, these days PSU's use GATE examination results instead of conducting their own examination. Due to this which paper you have selected for giving GATE is actually not important. What is important is the ranking of the marks that you obtained in this examination and of course you are basic engineering graduation which is being sought by the concerned PSU. Best wishes to you.

Yes this will create problem in admission. But if the other contents of uploaded marksheet are correct with respect to board's marksheet than the issue can be resolved during the counselling.

Your academic profile is decent. So you deserved for Iims. CAT percentile is an important component of shortlisting and required above 98 percentile for top three Iims. So plan accordingly.
