Admissions to engineering graduation course is based in students passing 12th or equivalent exam with minimum prescribed marks. In addition, they have to clear entrance exam assigned by the concerned state. Fir NUT etc. , a student has to appear for JEE Mains. For deemed to be universities, each one conducts its own exam. Hello Sai Deepak, the cutoff percentile for EWS candidates last year was just above 70 percentile. Hence I am sure that you will definitely be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination. For your information I am giving below cutoff for different categories of students. Cut-off for JEE Advance
Candidates having at least 90.3765335 percentile will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. For EWS students the cut-off is 70.2435518, for OBC it is 72.8887969, SC - 50.1760245, ST - 39.0696101, PwD - 0.06185224

Hello Sandeep, while calculating percentile, certain data is required. Unfortunately this data is available only with NTA. Hence it's almost impossible to find out percentile for any one else. I would like to advise you to not worry on this part. But surely NTA informs students about their percentile while declaring results. Just wait few days for the results to be declared. So getting job after completion of engineering graduation is a myth. 55percentile means approximately 5 Lacs students have scored better than you. It's much better to pursue a subject that you like.
