Hello Poorvika, there appears to be some confusion in your mind. Let me try to clarify. Admissions to engineering graduation course is based in students passing 12th or equivalent exam with minimum prescribed marks. In addition, they have to clear entrance exam assigned by the concerned state. Fir NUT etc. , a student has to appear for JEE Mains. For deemed to be universities, each one conducts its own exam. Now you decide what you want to do. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sandeep, while calculating percentile, certain data is required. Unfortunately this data is available only with NTA. Hence it's almost impossible to find out percentile for any one else. I would like to advise you to not worry on this part. But surely NTA informs students about their percentile while declaring results. Just wait few days for the results to be declared. Best wishes to you.

Hello NSLK Reddy, VIT gives admissions primarily based on the entrance exam it conducts for its different campuses. Have you given this exam. Merely having scored excellently in 12th is of no use. I am afraid if you have not given any entrance exam then you are in a very tough situation to get admission in engineering. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sanjeev Kumar, these days raw marks do not matter at all. Percentile is the criteria for admission and ranking. Unfortunately you have not mentioned your percentile. Okay. I would like to advise you to download the college predictors available on the net. Using these and your percentile, you can find out as to which branch and institution you can get admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello TM Tamilselvan, if I may ask as to why you want to join engineering? More than 50% fresh engineering graduates do not get placed. So getting job after completion of engineering graduation is a myth. 55percentile means approximately 5 Lacs students have scored better than you. It's much better to pursue a subject that you like. If you still desire, I would like to advise you to download college predictors and use it to know which branch and institution you can get admission in. Best wishes to you.
