Most of the Engineering Colleges admits students in B.Tech courses on the basis of JEE Main or their own entrance exam scores. However in Tamil Nadu major admissions in B.Tech/ B.E. Courses are done on the basis of 12th marks. Anna University conducts TNEA single window counselling on the basis of 12th marks for admission in various engineering colleges located in Tamil Nadu. The name of few colleges are given below for ready reference.
1. PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
2. Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai
3. Madras Institute of Technology
4. College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai
SASTRA (Deemed to be University) Thanjavur is another college offering 30% of B.Tech seat admission on the basis of class 12th marks.

Hello Sahi Milind Kondhare, I think you are now too late to think of seeking admission for diploma courses in the state of Maharashtra. directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra has almost finished the complete process of admission for this year. You can perhaps contact private institutions offering this course for any possibility of admission under their management quota. With plenty of seats lying vacant, there is quite a chance that you may succeed in getting admission this year itself. I am attaching links for your benefit. Hello Namitha Shaji, no not at all. These days luckily for the students and parents admissions to all types of medical colleges whether they are government or private or sponsored by the central government admissions are only and only through NEET. Medical aspirants must consider themselves lucky since they don't have to appear for too many entrance exams for seeking admissions to different types of colleges. National testing agency is thinking of conducting this examination more than once to enable students to take examination which will be suiting to their time table. Of course the best of two results will be taken into account while declaring the results and consequent merit list. Best wishes to you.
