Hello Puja, this Institute started admitting students only in the year 2019. Apparently the institute offers only one course at the moment and is calling this course as graduate Diploma programme in design or GDPD, 4 year course. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this course and also that entrance exam that a student need to pass to get admission in this course. https://www.shiksha.com/college/nid-jorhat-national-institute-of-design-Assam-65905

Hello Archit, different universities have different electives in different branches of engineering. It is not that all the universities have same electives from which student have to select. Hence I would like to advise you to download the brochure of the college for the university under which that college comes where you intend to study and then SEE for yourself as to which electives are being offered during different years of mechanical engineering course in that college. Best wishes to you.

Hello Alok, normal speaking every state has its own entrance exam except perhaps the state of Tamil Nadu which admit students based on marks obtained in 12th. Then at the national level there is JEE Mains and advanced for admissions in centrally funded institutes and IIT. Besides this almost every deemed to be university conducts its own exam for admitting students to courses that these universities offer. An aspirant to the engineering colleges has to really apply for different entrance exams and appear in them for getting admission in one of the desired institutes. Best wishes to you.
