Hello Kanhaiya Thakur, normally speaking for a student who is seeking to do Ph.D. in any subject is supposed to know no a lot about that subject since only then can the student is expected to carry out research in that subject. Therefore I feel that you may not be eligible to pursue Ph.D. in any other subject in Humanities. But you can pursue Ph.D. in information technology in which you already have a post graduation. Basically Ph.D. means doing research and the degree awarded is Ph.D. in respective of the field in which one does it. But then there could be instances where some private University may allow you to pursue your dreams. But you need to find the sword by contacting the administrative staff of the concerned University. Else you can think of doing post graduation in that subject of Humanities in which you are interested in carrying out research and then register yourself for Ph.D. Best wishes to you.

Hello Firdouse, I am afraid as to what you are seeking is not legally feasible at least presently in India. University grants commission has laid out a policy stating no professional courses can be offered by any university by way of correspondence course. What perhaps you can think of doing is joining a college which is allowing postgraduate courses to be conducted as part time courses. Here you will need to attend the classes which are invariably held either in the evening or on the weekends or both. However such institutes are very less in number and hence their gender information is not available on the net. You need to find out engineering colleges offering post graduation in your desired branch in the place where you are presently working for living and then contact each college separately by telephone to seek this information and then take appropriate action. Hello Chinna. , Because students study a lot of subjects that are similar to the ones taught in first year of engineering, Diploma holders are granted choice of seeking admission directly in the second year of 4 years engineering course. Almost every state the reason web page by the directorate of technical education of that state giving information in tabular format as to what different branches of engineering graduation course a Diploma holder can shoes. It's pretty liberal. I would strongly advise you to have a look at this tabular information on the web page of the directorate of technical education of your state to know the status.
