The cut-off for the integrated M.Tech programme at VIT Vellore varies every year, but it generally requires a top VITEEE rank within twenty thousand to thirty thousand. The official GATE 2026 notification is yet to be released, the updates will be notified along with the release of the GATE 2026 official website launch and information bulletin.
So as of now, there is no change in the GATE 2026 syllabus. However, students must stay alert with all the GATE updates. Candidates should start their preparation based on GATE 2025 syllabus and pattern. Having a flexible strategy can help the students to adapt quickly if there are any changes made in the GATE exam syllabus 2026.

With a JEE Mains rank of approximately twelve lakh, it is unfortunately not possible to secure a B.Tech in Computer Science seat at any IIIT or GFTI through the main JoSAA rounds. These institutes typically close admissions for CSE below around fifty thousand rank for open category, with even less popular GFTIs and IIITs not stretching anywhere close to twelve Lacs rank.

With this percentile it is still hard to get a seat in private colleges also.and if u want CSE branch in private colleges then look for autonomous University that has its own exam.i suggest VIT.give their entrance exam to secure CSE branch
