The maximum marks in the UPESEAT exam is 125 marks. Each question is for 1 mark while, there is no negative marking for any incorrect responses.

The UPESEAT exam 2026 will have 125 questions in total. Physics, Chemsitry and Mathematics will have 35 questions each while the English language comprehension section will have 20 questions.

Candidates can appear for the BITSAT entrance exam by registering themselves on the official website of BITS Pilani. The institute conducts BITSAT each year once for several course admissions.

There are four subjects in the UPESEAT exam- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language Comprehension. While the PCM subjects are of classes 11th and 12th level, the English comprehension is of basic level.

Since the exam is held in different slots, there are chances of the papers being of different difficulty levels. To make sure the students are scored fairly, an equating methodology will be followed. The question papers will be marked while following a standardized method to balance the scores.

While applying for the UPESEAT exam candidates only need a minimum of 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and for PCM subjects of class 12th. However applying for the BTech mathematics and computing programme requires a minimum of 70% marks in class 10th and 12th and 70% marks individually in class 12th PCM subjects.
