OBC-NCL and EWS category candidates are not required to submit or upload any documents or certificates while filling out the GATE 2026 application form. The last date to submit the GATE application form is September 28 (without late fees) and October 9 (with late fees).

IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The exam will be held in two sessions- forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).

The GATE 2025 cutoff has been out for admission to various M.Tech programs. With a score of 642, your chances of admission are extremely favourable, as the cutoff ranged from 360 to 432 for the General AI category candidates, with various branches closing their admissions in the early rounds.
For a more detailed look at which branch you are eligible for, refer to the table below.
Note: This is the cutoff only for the General AI category, other categories and rounds have diffferent cutoffs.

As per the NIRF 2025 ranking under the “Engineering” category, Indraprastha IIT Delhi ranks 63 among the top Engineering institutes of the country. The total fee for M.Tech in IIIT Delhi ranges between INR 3.7 Lacs and INR 6 lakh. NIT Trichy MTech fee is INR 1.4 lakh. As per placement statistics, the median package is recorded to be INR 18.17 LPA for IIITD and INR 7 LPA for NIT Trichy. Hence, it can be concluded that the fee is higher at IIITD. It is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) institute. IIIT Guwahti offers undergraduate, doctotal and postgraduate courses. Admission to the courses offered here is entrance-based and the application process is conducted in online mode.

There is a high chance of securing admission to NIT Durgapur with a score of 500 in the GATE exam. The last round for NIT Durgapur cutoff 2025 among General AI category candidates closed at a range of 350 to 562. Therefore, a lot of options are available at a 500 score, including top branches such as M.Tech in AI & DS and M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI.

- Go through the entire exam syllabus thoroughly and note down all the exam topics in a notebook.

The required GATE scores vary depending on which branch you want and which category, and which round. NIT Raipur GATE cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, All India quota ranges from 354 to 590 across all M.Tech specialisations. Students belonging to the General AI quota should aim to secure well above 354 to have a chance of getting admission to NIT Raipur. Please note that this is the cutoff for the General AI category only; if you belong to another category, such as OBC AI, you would need to aim for a score ranging between 294 and 436.

NIT Raipur MTeach cutoff 2025 has been released for various specialisations, rounds and categories. This year, in 2025, the M.Tech cutoff 2025 ranged from 354 to 590 for candidates belonging to the General category, All India quota, wherein M.Tech in Energy and Environment proved to be the toughest, and on the other hand, M.Tech. in Power System and Control, the easiest, according to the lowest last round score.
