Lot more to professional programming of development than writing software code. It requires understanding of Software engineering process and methodologies to working with a team to solve problems, capture requirement, design, code and testing. Understanding a programming language is only a minor part of coding. Problem-solving is the most important skill and collaborative problem-solving is a difficult skill to learn. If you want to learn Programming as a hobby, you can learn it now. If you're learn programming in college degree you will have opportunity to work on a fairly large team-oriented project in class which is good for finding job. If you want to learn programming now and make a career you may find it difficult to get your first job. But if you are able to get first job then you can make a career in IT industry as a programmer will be easy. BCA as the course curriculum of BCA in most colleges of India includes the syllabus of Polytechnic along with other topics as well. If the question is about pursuing Polytechnic in a different domain altogether, then it is my advice to choose a stream in which a person wants to establish a career in and then proceed further. Pursuing 2 different courses in different domains rarely leads to something good and mostly results in the career path going astray. Therefore, I would advice to first determine which domain a person wants to establish a career in, compare the syllabus of the various courses in the domain and then take a decision accordingly. SUAT 2020 - Sharda University Admission Test is conducted by Sharda University each year. It is a gateway to courses such as B.Tech. BCA MCA B.Tech, MBA, Journalism & Mass Communication & Design, Integrated Law, B.A. (Hons) & B.Sc. The candidates those having any national or state level entrance exam score are exempted to appear in the SUAT 2020. SUAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech : Matriculation with 60% marks, Sr. Secondary (10+2) 60% marks without a gap between 10th and 12th + SUAT (Online Test) followed by Personal Interview. Or JEE All India Rank; Less than 3 lacs or UPSEE All India Rank; Less than 50, 000. So, from above you are eligible for SUAT 2020 for B.Tech courses.
