Yes. There are certifications available in the area of finance. Chartered Financial Analyst CFA While this is no short-term course, one can pursue it with their MBA degree and the course has 3 different levels and requires 4 years of work experience. It has a lot of value in the industry and you can grow your profile in the finance space easily. Certified Financial Planner CFP Be it financial planning, tax planning, insurance planning, investment planning or retirement planning the course that will prepare you to take these decisions is CFP. If u are going for engineering then percentage of your class 12th matters not of class 10th. It differs from college to college but in sum college they even take aggregate of marks obtained in pcm only.

Hi I would suggest you try for better colleges than SSN as their placements are pretty poor and mediocre. Recently they came to SRM campus for a company called Ingram Micro for campus drive and not a single one of them cleared and they also lacked in basic communication too. I applied in SSN but was glad I got rejected because I got better opportunities and exposure here in SRM than SSN. Would suggest you try for places elsewhere like LIBA and Great Lakes which offers Great ROI and better roles than just sales based roles
