Hello Rashmi,

Sound and audio doesn't have much difference, both are identical. Sound or audio engineering is a profession in which an engineer works upon the mixing up of various sounds, overpower them, refines the audio, removes unnecessary noise, cleaning up etc. One who do this may be called as sound mixer, sound technician, and audio technician. Thank you.

When we started our engineering. ECE was a craze (never knew why). Many of my friends got their branches changed from CSE/IT to ECE. Fast forward four years, placements of CSE/it rocked. The highest packages came from these branches. Most of the ECE guys were placed in IT services company and those who had better offers had it from software ones. In short, I want to make a career in It sector, that's where 90% ECE engineer land up anyhow, but with better opportunities. I feel IT is more blooming as per my observance, so I would like to switch
I hope that helps. All the best.
