Bachelor of Science (Hons. ). In Computer Science programme at BHU Varanasi : The Bachelor of Computer Science B.Sc. Programme is a three year course open to any one having completed 10+2 from Mathematics stream. Computer Science is one of the most sought subject combinations among the students admitted to B.Sc. Programme in Mathematics group. The Banaras Hindu University shall conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test (hereinafter called UET) in the month of May-2020 for admission to various Undergraduate Courses. Admission will be on merit in the UET subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements of the Course for which the candidate has applied. Eligibility criteria : Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Maths plus any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Geography and must have passed in each of the concerned three subjects (as supported by the Certificate issued by the Examining body).

The weightage given to various components involves in selection criteria at BIMTECH are given below.
1. Personal Interview : 25%
2. What : 10%
3. Entrance score : 35%
4. Academic performance : 12%
5. Work experience : 10%
6. Regional-Eastern States (7 sisters) reservation : 3%
7. ESCS category : 2%
8. Gender (Female Candidates Only) : 3%
So from above 10% weightage is given to PI only, which can be recovered from your work experience. The BIMTECH has an special clause for work experience, please read carefully. I am hopeful for you and every thing will be fine. Work experience clause : Weightage for work experience would ideally be given to a candidate only if he/she had worked in executive or supervisory role for a minimum period of one year as on 31/01/2020, in a registered company having turnover of Rs. 50 crores or more in the preceding financial year I. e. 2018-19. However, management reserves the right to relax this particular norm on the merit of the case, if the candidate is from a start-up, entrepreneurial or social organisation.

The B.E. admission in MIT Madras are based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University. The other state candidates are also eligible for TNEA.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 Std. Or their equivalent from educational organisations located outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They must include a duplicate copy of Nativity Certificate only in the form of a soft copy/ digitally signed e-Certificate.
Eligibility criteria : Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in 12th class in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Hence JEE Mains score is not applicable here and you have to go through the TNEA counselling process conducted by Anna University for admission.
