For B.Tech, you need to study Science at first. Commerce is totally different from Engineering/Science. For B.Tech maths, physics and chemistry are mandatory. You can do MBA, BA BBA or commerce courses after taking Non-medical, but you cannot do B.Tech after studying commerce subjects. Thank you.

International Baccalaureate (IB) students are required to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the Class 12 level and have a valid score for JEE, any State-Government conducted engineering entrance test. Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics. A student who has completed his/her 10+2 education with minimum 60% aggregate marks and is from the science and Maths background can take up a diploma course in engineering which is of one year and then can directly take admission to the B.Tech after Diploma.
