With a JEE Main percentile of 63.5, your Common Rank List (CRL) rank is likely around 3.2 to 3.4 lakh. At this rank,  getting admission into any NIT is highly unlikely, especially in the open (General) category.

With a JEE Main rank of around 2,57,000,  getting admission to HBTU Kanpur (Harcourt Butler Technical University) for B.Tech programs is extremely difficult, especially for core branches like CSE, IT, or AI.

If you achieve a 70% in PCM, you are eligible for Integrated M.Tech at VIT Vellore.

For securing software engineering, AI or CS related branches, it is suggested to achieve 85 % in PCM to increase chance of qualifying for Category 1–3 selections.

Further, exact merit ranks depend on the overall decile of applicants and will be published by the official VIT portal as merit-lists and closing ranks during counselling.

If your PCM aggregate puts you at a VIT rank of up to 3,500, you can expect to get admission to Category 1.

If your rank was up to ~ 15,000, expect admission to Category 2 or 3 which have slightly higher fees but the opportunities of a seat in Software Engineering.

With 83.2685530 percentile in JEE Main, your chances for B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE) at top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs are very low, especially for General category. However, you can still get admission into good private colleges,  state government colleges, and some lower-ranked GFTIs, depending on your category, home state, and counseling choice.

With a score of 96%, you have a good chance of being accepted to the Integrated M.Tech course at VIT Vellore. Just make sure you fill out your application correctly and submit all the documents they ask for, which will include age proof, nativity or category certificates, if applicable. Admission to the B.E. / B.Tech programme at St. Peter's College of Engineering and Technology is done primarily through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process. Students must register online, fill in their academic details, and select their preferred colleges and branches. The final allotment is done based on cutoffs and merit. For management quota seats, candidates can approach the college directly for details on availability and admission procedures. Eligibility includes a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

The selection criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech. course at Arunachala College of Engineering for Women are entirely merit-based. Admission is determined by your performance in the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling process. You must have passed your 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. After you appear for the TNEA counseling, your final selection is made based on your TNEA rank. The college also has management quota seats, which offer a separate admission pathway.
