For admission in JLD Engineering and management college you need to qualify the entrance exam - JEE Main/ WBJEE followed by a councelling process.  Along with this the college also offers direct admission with a limited percentage of seats. But for admission in B.Tech it's mandatory to appear for the respective exam.

B.E./B.Tech at UVCE is a top choice due to its legacy, affordability, and quality education. Established in 1917, it offers strong academic foundations, experienced faculty, and good placement opportunities. As a government college, fees are low, and it has a strong alumni network and central Bangalore location. UVCE also holds State Eminence status, enhancing its value and reputation.

YES, you can get admission to UVCE (V College of Engineering) without TNEA, as it is a Karnataka government college, not affiliated with Tamil Nadu's admission system. UVCE admits students only through KCET (for Karnataka candidates) and COMEDK (for non-Karnataka candidates in some cases). TNEA is only valid for Tamil Nadu engineering colleges.

NO, JLD Engineering and management college doesn't give 100 percent scholarship. There's very little information available about the scholarship criteria and amount. Although the college offers scholarship but there's no information about it on the official website of the college as well.

Selection for the B.E./B.Tech course at UVCE is based on KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) ranks, conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admissions are granted through state counseling based on KCET scores, with seat allotments following reservation and merit criteria set by the government.
