In engineering, your path could be, aerospace/avionics Engineer, flight engineer, project engineer etc. However, by Science stream (B.Sc-M.Sc) you can be research scientist, academicians, physicist etc. So, it's all depends on your aspirations. The suggested college for Astronomy is Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, India Institute of Science, Bangalore, IIT-B, M.

You cannot get admission in this college, if you have not appeared in the entrance exam. This is a government college, so there is no management quota also. So, it is not possible for you get a seat in this college. I will suggest you to go for private colleges like Amity University, Shardha University, Lovely Professional University, Galgotia University, LNCT Bhopal, Techno India-Kolkata etc., and get admission directly through management quota in your favorite branch.

No, you can't as NIT Trichy is among the best NIT with a good rank, so getting a seat with such a percentile is quite tough. Most of the students with 95+ percentile manage to get a seat in NIT, Trichy. Category wise somehow you can manage.
