Hi SMYLIE,
Yes, this is a very good college for computer science and information technology. Placement scenario is also good. Top IT companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini, etc. visit the campus for recruitment.

Hello SN Akhilesh, SASTRA admits students based on combination of the marks of JEE Mains as well as the 12th. In addition, weightage to 12th is 75% while its 25% to JEE Mains. As you have good score in 12th, I feel that you have a good chance to get admission in your desired branch.
Best wishes.

It really depends on your long-term goals. If it's 'just' for money, then, no. If it has to know about medical technologies and research in depth, enough to be able to contribute confidently in a meaningful way, then yes. Especially if you want to get an insight into how these medical devices are made and the thought processes. You can do this with a BS, but with a Ph.D. you can catch on quickly, and you also learn the history behind some of the design decisions and parameters, as well as learn in depth where to get materials or even how to make them yourself.
