- Start preparing at least 8 to 10 months before the final exam date.
- List down all the important topics, especially the high-weightage topics, and make a weekly schedule.
- Practice last year papers.

I'm aiming for CMR's B.Tech, and admissions work like this: 70% of the seats are filled through rank-based TS EAMCET counseling—so good performance in PCM and EAMCET is key. The other 30% are management seats where you still need either an EAMCET rank or at least 50% in PCM—no freebies there. If you're a Diploma student, you've got the TS? ECET route into second year. So yep, it's a straightforward mix of entrance and merit.”
