If you have no command in English Grammar then you should choose Hindi in SSC CHSL Descriptive Paper. Language doesn't matter in this examination, your thoughts, skills matter. If you have effective writing then you will get good marks in exam. Thank You.

If you are asking whether you can do two-degree courses at the same time then no. As per UGC notification In 2016, it stated that a student cannot attempt or possess two-degree courses at the same time.

If you are interested in lectureship only and want to appear for the NET exam again, let me tell you that the NET exam is held twice a year in June and December Month. The NET exam will make you eligible for the assistant professor and JRF awards and for higher studies as well. If you have completed the post-graduation that is MA. You need not to do any other course for lectureship in private institutes. You need to decide whether you want to do a job or to apply for further studies like Ph.D. The Next UGC NET exam will be held in December and the application form will be released to fill in September month. You will definitely get admission in 67% for MA English in Chandigarh University.
All you have to score more than 50% in your Bachelors to get Eligible to apply for MA English.

No, there is no entrance exam for admission in M.A. English from Chandigarh university. The minimum eligibility criteria is that candidate must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% from a recognised board.
