An abstract noun is an idea, state, quality, or feeling that is intangible in nature. By being intangible, abstract nouns cannot be seen, touched, or physically measured, but can be understood or felt emotionally.

For example, love, anger, beauty, anxiety, happiness, knowledge, wisdom, and hate.

The Duolingo English Test (DET) doesn't offer a traditional 'question PDF' like some other exams because it's an adaptive online test. This means questions change based on your answers. Furthermore, even if you attempt several mock tests, it's impossible to get the exact same question again.

Vocabulary is tested through tasks like "Read and Select" (identifying real English words) and "Listen and Select," as well as in reading comprehension and writing tasks where you need to understand and use a wide range of words. Other than this, there are other tasks which help them to assess student's proficiency.

There is no fixed syllabus for the Duolingo English Test. It checks your skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It includes short questions like filling in missing words, describing pictures, reading aloud, and answering questions in your own words. The test is adaptive, meaning it gets easier or harder based on your answers, and takes about 1 hour to complete.
