No, the average MBBS fee is lower in Russia than in India. This is because the Russian government provide subsidies for medical education making it quite affordable for students around the world.

The lowest MBBS in Russia is ₹1.5-3 L per year. However this fee accounts for only the tuition fee part and not for other expenses that include living expenses such as the cost of accommodation, food, travelling and other utility bills.

The best country for an MBBS comes down to what you're looking for. If its affordable education that you're interested in then Russia stands out. As does the likes of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. If you're looking for a curriculum similar to India's, then Nepal is a very good choice. MBBS graduates from Philippines tend to do well in the FMGE and NExT exams.

International students are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week or 4 hours a day in Russia. This is in line with the general part time work hour limit in other popular European countries.

International students are advised to stay within the allowed part time work hour limit, as failing to do so, may lead to the revocation of their Russia study visa and consequently, deportation from the country.
