The Central University of Jammu offers an M.Sc. in Environmental Science course with a duration of 2 years. The course is offered by the Department of Environmental Sciences.
The eligibility criteria for admission to this course are:
Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
Qualifying for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) conducted by the Central University of Jammu.

These are two very different courses and each has its own value and job prospects.You can study Environment Studies, however the fields of Nutrition is exponentially growing, so it would be better if you take up nutrition and food subjects.Although environment has more prospects for future and less demand at present but Food Science would always be demanding.
