WBJEE 2023 question paper is divided into two sections - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). Each paper is of 2 hours duration. While attempting the examination, the candidates will have to answer 75 questions from Paper 1 (Mathematics) and 80 questions from Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). WBJEE exam pattern outlines the details regarding how the entrance examination will be conducted by the authorities. WBJEE will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test. The total duration of the examination is 4 hours - 2 hours for Paper 1 (Mathematics) and 2 hours for Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). The candidates will have to answer a total of 155 multiple-choice questions. In the paper, the questions are divided into three categories. Category I and II questions will have only one correct option while Category III questions will have one or more correct options. JEE Main 2026 exam pattern has been released by the NTA. As per exam pattern, the JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) exam will consist of 75 questions, 25 each from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Out of 25 questions, 20 will be MCQs and 5 will be NAV. Students need to answer all 75 questions. JEE Main paper 2A for B.Arch consists of 77 questions of which 25 are from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 2 from Drawing. In Paper 2B for BPlan total questions are 100 of which 25 are from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 25 from Planning.

The OJEE exam is a computer-based test for all courses. However, the OJEE exam pattern differs according to the course you are applying for. The generic OJEE exam pattern is as follows:
1. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode. Earlier, the exam was also conducted in the paper-based test mode but from 2019 onwards, the PBT mode has been scrapped.

AIIMS releases INI CET pattern along with the information brochure. The question paper pattern comprises details about the mode, medium of the exam, total number of questions asked, type of questions, allotted time, and marking scheme. INI CET exam is held in computer-based mode in English medium. According to INI CET 2025 paper pattern, a total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked and candidates get 3 hours to answer them. Candidates get 1 mark for every right answer while -1/3 for every wrong answer. It must be noted that the official question paper and answer key are not released for INI CET exam.

Under the NIFT lateral entry admission (NLEA) scheme, the candidate can get admission directly to the 3rd semester of the B. Des programme. Candidates opting for the NLEA scheme need to first appear in the General Ability Test (GAT). Candidates who get shortlisted has to next appear in a Studio Test, and finally in a Personal Interview. The GAT test will carry 40% weightage, Studio Test carries 40% weightage, while the Interview carries 20% weightage. It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the stages of the exam. If not, he or she will not be included in the admission merit list.
